OUR STORY

For Mukul Arora, fashion has always been less about following a moment and more about giving tradition a new expression. What began with a decision to leave a conventional career and pursue a deeply personal passion for fashion grew into Mukull Arora, founded in 2021, and over the years evolved into the design house that today carries his name. His journey has been shaped by an enduring fascination with Indian celebrations, the artistry of couture and the belief that what a person wears on the most important days of their life should feel deeply personal.

At the heart of Mukul Arora’s work is the Indian wedding — not as a fixed tradition, but as a living, evolving expression of individuality. His design language brings together the richness of Indian craftsmanship with contemporary silhouettes, modern proportions and a more global sensibility. From richly embroidered bridal lehengas and heirloom-inspired shararas to sophisticated evening gowns, sarees and contemporary menswear, his collections move naturally between heritage and modernity.

His aesthetic is defined by an appreciation for intricate handcraft, considered detailing and the transformative power of colour. Zardozi, Kiran Dori, sequins, crystals, pearls and traditional embellishment techniques are reimagined across silhouettes that are designed to feel celebratory yet contemporary. His collections have explored everything from the regal vocabulary of Awadh to the romance of florals, the drama of festive dressing and the luminous glamour of evening couture. (Mukul Arora)

OUR STORE
First flagship store was opened in 2020 in the heart of New Delhi. The store features the latest collections of Mukul Arora including Bridal Lehengas, Reception and Cocktail dresses, Classic Sarees and Awadhi Shararas. Ejaaz also holds a special place for menswear at the store and houses modern styles appealing to the new age Indian grooms.

But beyond the embroidery and grandeur lies a simpler philosophy: clothes should belong to the person wearing them.

Mukul believes that the modern Indian bride and groom are increasingly confident in defining their own aesthetic. They may be deeply connected to their heritage while simultaneously looking towards the world for inspiration. This duality has become central to his work — creating couture that respects the past without being confined by it, and celebrating tradition without making it predictable.

Over the years, this approach has taken his creations beyond the confines of a single city, becoming part of wedding celebrations for Indian families across the world. Earlier media coverage of his work particularly recognised his focus on bridal and groom couture, his attention to detail and his growing international clientele across destinations with large Indian communities. Today, Mukul Arora represents an evolving chapter in that journey. The name may have changed, but the instinct remains the same: to create clothes that make a moment feel extraordinary.

His couture is ultimately an interplay of craftsmanship, emotion and individuality — rooted in the richness of India, shaped by a contemporary eye and created for a generation that wants its celebrations to be unmistakably its own.
